The overall purpose of Inside Sales & Logistics Assistant position is to support Vitro’s clients and the Sales Director via customer management. The incumbent will support and learn logistics within Vitro Chemicals to support the Logistics Manager.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or other related; 1 year experience in similar or related position.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with client interactions.
  • Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Maintain an active and robust project pipeline.

Nice To Haves

  • Some knowledge of SAP helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with ongoing customer support relations; respond to requests including pricing, damage investigations, and quality inquiries. Provide ongoing customer support service and active participation in customer issue resolution.
  • Maintain customer database in coordination with Vitro Customer Service Representatives to update shifts in costs, routes, and distribution requests.
  • Provide support in sales reporting and mid-and-month-end reporting.
