Inside Sales Executive
About The Position
Alera Group is looking for an Inside Sales Executive to join our growing SELECT team based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Requirements
- Highschool Diploma, GED or relevant working experience
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience
- Active P&C insurance license required
- Comfortable with phone-based sales outreach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (internal & external)
- Professional presence with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Client-centric, consultative sales mindset
- Creative problem-solver who understands underwriting perspectives
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales lifecycle: intake, marketing, quoting, negotiation, and binding
- Deliver a consultative, client-first sales approach with an understanding of SELECT business and its fast pace - balance.
- Engage with clients via phone and virtual communications (daily).
- Deliver standard and excess & surplus quotes within the standard turnaround expectations
- Demonstrate underwriting awareness and creatively position risks
- Triage quoting, follow-ups, and client service in a high-volume environment - again, balance.
- Ability to pivot for urgent client needs managing competing priorities
