About The Position

Rockford Systems is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to support our sales operations through proactive customer engagement, quote generation, and order support. This role is fully in-office and plays a key part in driving revenue, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting our commitment to quality and safety-focused solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of inside sales experience (B2B preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Adept in navigating through challenging tasks or situations
  • Willingness to learn and gain knowledge on products & services, processes, and systems used

Nice To Haves

  • Safety knowledge, particularly in industrial or manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
  • Generate and follow up on quotes, pricing, and sales orders
  • Support outside sales representatives and coordinate sales activities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Accurately enter and manage orders in internal systems
  • Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and accounting to ensure timely fulfillment
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, and applicable safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service while meeting sales and performance goals
