About The Position

Our office in Hamburg, NY is hiring for a Sales Coordinator position. This is a full-time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Required experience using SAP
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Quote new and regular customers:
  • Provide timely, accurate quotes
  • Follow up on unconfirmed quotes
  • Track buying patterns to anticipate and initiate quotes proactively
  • Track sales goals and market share per region or customer segment
  • Facilitate and manage the order to cash process
  • Data entry of orders into sales matrix or SAP
  • Check orders for accuracy and complete details
  • Respond to inquiries and questions on existing orders
  • Communicate pricing and market trends clearly and consistently
  • Monitor orders to ensure on time delivery
  • Work with production facilities for ensure on time delivery and order status
  • Look up inventory and pricing in the matrix, SAP inventory tiles
  • Onboard new customers
  • Build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with customers, suppliers and co-workers.
  • Effective and professional communication, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable interacting at all levels in the organization: managers, sales people, sales assistants and across departments
