About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for converting inbound and outbound opportunities into booked appointments, sold memberships, and upsold services across HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing divisions. This role plays a critical part in driving recurring revenue through membership sales, renewals, and upgrades while delivering an exceptional customer experience over the phone and digital channels.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of inside sales, call center sales, or customer service experience
  • Strong phone presence with persuasive and confident communication skills
  • Experience selling service plans, memberships, or recurring revenue products preferred
  • Ability to handle high call volume in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (CRM, scheduling software, email)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or home services industry
  • Knowledge of flat-rate pricing models
  • Experience working with ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar software

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound sales calls, web leads, and follow-ups for HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing services
  • Convert service inquiries into booked appointments or sold jobs
  • Perform outbound calls to follow up on estimates, unsold work, aging leads, and marketing campaigns
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer needs
  • Meet or exceed individual sales, booking, and conversion targets
  • Actively sell company maintenance/membership plans to new and existing customers
  • Manage membership renewals, upgrades, cancellations, and customer inquiries
  • Educate customers on membership benefits, pricing, and included services
  • Track and follow up on expired or expiring memberships
  • Maintain accurate membership records within the CRM or service software
  • Provide professional, confident, and friendly phone communication
  • Build rapport and trust with homeowners while identifying needs
  • Resolve customer concerns related to memberships, pricing, and scheduling
  • Coordinate closely with dispatch, service technicians, and field management
  • Accurately document all customer interactions in CRM/service software
  • Maintain call notes, sales outcomes, and membership status
  • Assist with sales reporting and performance tracking
  • Ensure compliance with company sales processes and scripts
