Were searching for an Inside Sales Representative who can strengthen and grow the lower- to mid-tier account base, optimize revenue, and convert leads to consistent, high-performing buyers. As part of the Inside Sales team, youll be working with Independent Retailers and Value customers who benefit from our Liquidation/Value offerings, giving you multiple ways to drive revenue quickly and efficiently. Your success will be visible and measurable through CRM-driven KPIs and revenue growth across a diverse account set.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Inside Sales, Customer Service, Phone-Based Sales, or related experience in CPG, retail services, wholesale, or multi-channel environments
  • Organized, consistent, and highly productive in a CRM-driven environment (HubSpot experience is a plus)
  • Comfortable making high volumes of calls, sending strategic email outreach, and running virtual meetings or product walkthroughs
  • Motivated by KPIs, revenue targets, and commission acceleration based on increased buying activity
  • Skilled at building rapport quickly, tailoring product recommendations to diverse retail formats, and influencing purchasing decisions
  • Strategic and data-drivenable to interpret account trends, strengthen performance, and identify growth opportunities
  • A strong communicator who fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration across the sales organization

Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined portfolio of Inside Sales accounts and grow revenue by consistently increasing points of distribution (PODs), order frequency, and customer engagement
  • Execute against KPIs tied to Revenue Growth, Activities (Calls/Emails/Meetings), Did Buys, PO frequency, Points of Distribution, and CRM pipeline progress
  • Drive account performance through high-volume CRM-based outreach, ensuring every customer receives frequent contact, timely follow-up, and tailored product value propositions
  • Convert inbound leads, CRM sequences, and inactive accounts into consistent buyers within established timelines
  • Support Outside Sales by onboarding and elevating transitioned accounts while striving to grow the average invoice amount and sell-through while identifying potential accounts that can graduate back to Outside Sales
  • Maintain detailed forecasting and updated CRM notes, next steps, and sequencing to support visibility across the sales organization
  • Provide product recommendations, promotional opportunities, and purchasing guidance to customers that will drive incremental revenue and strengthen account loyalty
  • Proactively identify whitespace opportunities within assigned accounts and introduce relevant items from Novelty Inc.s full portfolio
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales operations, marketing, supply chain, and Outside Sales to ensure seamless execution and consistent customer experience
  • Maintain pricing integrity, adhere to company standards, and deliver all management requests or assignments on time
  • Contribute actively to Inside Sales meetings and support the broader team with ideas, feedback, and collaborative problem-solving
