About The Position

The Armstrong Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Consultant to join our team, and to sell to prospective customers who contact us by phone, online inquiries, or third-party lead sources. The Inside Sales Consultant provides accurate estimates, develops competitive pricing packages, and guides customers through the servicing process while maintaining exceptional customer service. This remote position requires strong technical proficiency to ensure accuracy in pricing, proposal development, and data reporting. Success in this role comes from a balance of sales performance, excellent rapport building, handling objections, customer satisfaction, and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment all while achieving set goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two to five years of direct sales experience required (moving/logistics and or service industry experience a plus)
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work confidently to ensure accurate estimates and pricing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing demands
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries and convert them into sold opportunities
  • Develop and deliver effective virtual sales presentations
  • Conduct virtual consultations to provide accurate estimates of services
  • Create competitive pricing packages to meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and executed
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and customer documentation
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales performance goals
