About The Position

The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts, supporting revenue growth, and delivering an excellent customer experience. This role works closely with the Director of Sales, Director of Business Development, VP of Operations and across internal teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently and accurately. The position emphasizes relationship management, sales support, and data-driven decision-making rather than routine administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Engineering or a related field preferred; or equivalent of work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and collaborate across departments.
  • Requires U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with aerospace and/or commercial customers is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM/Enterprise systems like CETEC or SAP beneficial.
  • Ability to acquire and keep a security clearance.
  • Familiarity with EAR and ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned customer accounts by understanding customer needs, identifying the best product fit, and proactively following up.
  • Partner with the Director of Sales to support sales initiatives and customer engagement strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, factory operations, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate communication.
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries regarding pricing, lead times, product availability, and order status.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for customer issues and coordinate resolution with appropriate internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Coordinator to ensure accurate order processing, documentation, and customer data management.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Other duties as assigned.
