The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing and treating disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing. In addition, this position is responsible for consulting, educating and training patients, families, and caregivers and for collaborating with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient centered care. This CFY position is designed for individuals graduating this spring from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program who are seeking hands-on experience in adult neuro rehabilitation. The role offers broad clinical exposure, including treatment of dysphagia (including MBS), aphasia, cognitive-communication disorders, and other adult neurological and medical diagnoses. The position offers a minimum of 24 hours per week, with additional hours available for those interested. This role requires flexibility, including multiple weekend shifts and some holidays, and provides a strong foundation for developing clinical skills across medically complex adult populations.
