About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Injection Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting injection molding machines and supporting equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Basic math and reading skills required
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Ability to learn technical processes and equipment
Strong attendance and reliability
Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
Willingness to work any shift and in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

Prior injection molding experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Set up and operate injection molding machines for production runs
Install, remove, and secure molds, including proper hook-up of hydraulic, electrical, and water lines
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machines, molds, and material handling systems
Perform basic maintenance on material handling equipment
Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout)
Use computer systems to track production and process data
Operate forklifts and cranes (training provided)
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with training lower-level technicians as skills progress
