Injection Operator 2nd Shift
About The Position
Position Summary: Produce quality ceramic cores using Injection Machines. Prepare dies, obtain materials and inject part according to procedure. Essential Functions: Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Injection Machines. Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routers, CQCS, etc) Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting Monitor material levels and replace as needed Must assist Engineers, Quality and Manufacturing as needed. Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures. Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S Other duties as assigned by supervision
Requirements
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Must be detail oriented and well organized
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Must be self-directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision
- Basic math skills required
- Operators need to be able to comprehend and read procedures
Nice To Haves
- Mold or plastic injection experience preferred
