About The Position

As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the middleware technologies that facilitate communication and data exchange between enterprise systems such as CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics) and SharePoint environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of these systems, while managing middleware layers that enable smooth interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • years of experience in middleware administration, with specific experience supporting CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics) and SharePoint.
  • Strong knowledge of middleware technologies such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, or Tomcat.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint configuration, administration, and integration.
  • In-depth understanding of CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics), including integrations with third-party systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and configuration management.
  • Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios, Prometheus) for CRM and SharePoint environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and load balancing for middleware, CRM, and SharePoint systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for hosting middleware, CRM, and SharePoint applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Middleware certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Middleware Administrator) or CRM certifications (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and SharePoint migrations.
  • Knowledge of integrating CRM platforms with ERP systems, customer portals, or custom applications.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes for middleware deployments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and manage middleware technologies, ensuring efficient communication between CRM platforms, SharePoint, and other enterprise applications.
  • Administer and optimize CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics) and SharePoint environments, ensuring seamless integration with other business systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot middleware-related issues affecting CRM and SharePoint performance and functionality.
  • Apply updates, patches, and security measures to middleware platforms, CRM, and SharePoint to ensure system integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement solutions for integrating CRM and SharePoint with other business applications.
  • Automate and script configuration management for middleware, CRM, and SharePoint environments using tools like Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Implement and manage high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for CRM, SharePoint, and middleware systems.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of middleware configurations, CRM and SharePoint processes, and operational procedures.
  • Provide support for middleware incidents and system outages, participating in an on-call rotation as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in middleware, CRM, and SharePoint technologies to continuously improve system performance and security
