Central Texas Neurology Consultants is ready to welcome a full time Infusion Nurse Supervisor to their team. Company Overview: Central Texas Neurology Consultants is the premier provider of Neurological services in the greater Central Texas region. CTNC has been in practice for over 20 years and serves more than 10,000 people. Our on-site infusion center provides first-class, compassion-focused care to patients receiving infusion therapy. Job Details: The ideal candidate will have a dynamic personality, at least one year of registered nursing experience, and rockstar IV skills! Previous infusion experience is a plus.
Requirements
- The RN must have an active, unrestricted nursing license in their state of practice.
- BLS certification required.
- At least one year of registered nursing experience
- Rockstar IV skills!
Nice To Haves
- Previous infusion experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provides infusion and other skilled nursing care to patients, such as patient assessments, patient/caregiver education, and responding to emergency patient needs.
- Exceptional time management skills, good clinical judgement, and the ability to multi-task
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times; Strictly follows HIPAA laws and regulations
- Participates in staff meetings and in-services as required
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and patients
- Abides by organizational policies and procedures as well as state/federal rules/regulations
