About The Position

The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the management of projects globally. This role involves interacting with various parts of the Information Technology division and directly with the organization’s business to gather requirements, facilitate design, and coordinate the implementation of solutions that meet the demand for infrastructure services.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in project management in a matrix organization.
  • Experience managing technical projects/programs.
  • Experience working globally and cross-functionally.
  • Basic knowledge of GxP requirements.
  • Ability to support project delivery on time, within budget, and to a high quality.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
  • Basic understanding of industry-standard IT infrastructure platforms and terminology.
  • Understanding of the application landscape, including migration, deployment, and integration.
  • GxP skills and training required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the manufacturing domain is preferred.
  • Understanding of IT/OT & Smart Manufacturing is a plus.
  • Experience in application migration and deployment integration is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of infrastructure projects involving networking, telecommunications, data centers, and server/storage technologies.
  • Understanding of life sciences industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AGILE tools and frameworks is preferred.
  • PMP Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 6-12 months of the start date.
  • Basic knowledge of various project delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Perform functional analysis of solutions as part of developing initial requirements.
  • Help develop a detailed work breakdown and project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Support the management of relationships with project customers and stakeholders.
  • Assist with risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Help clarify roles and responsibilities across project teams.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Use corporate tools and processes for project management.
  • Assist in managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Support budget management and project tracking.
  • Facilitate the effective handover of IT solutions to operations teams.
