About The Position

Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Infrastructure Managed Service Senior Manager in Morristown, NJ, and the job duties are as follows: Manage project teams and oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Provide technical support to junior staff and clients, offering strategic guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, addressing client concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress of client programs and measure the success of the portfolio. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the infrastructure services domain with a delivery-led growth approach. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients. Collaborate with Accenture sales and solutioning teams, system architects, and design analysts to develop proposals and presentations that meet client requirements and outline the services offered. Plan and install upgrades of database management system software to enhance database performance. Identify, evaluate and recommend hardware or software technologies to achieve desired database performance.

Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 7 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate experience) in the IT consulting industry.
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the IT consulting industry.
  • Must have 7 years of experience in each of the following: Understanding and supporting the Life Science industry and clients utilizing cloud infrastructure and software platforms on Azure and AWS; Selling and delivering IT and infrastructure services to large clients in a global organization; Utilizing AWS cloud services including VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, AWS WAF, Security HUB, and Direct Connect for software development and deployment; Configuring and deploying applications with Kubernetes on AWS Cloud platforms; Working with Microsoft M365 and Azure Cloud utilizing Virtual Machines, VNet, Azure Monitor, Azure AD, Key Vault, Azure Migrate, Azure Security, Azure Backup and Site Recovery; and Utilizing GenWizard for automating operations.
  • Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
