About The Position

As we grow, we are seeking a highly motivated IT Technician to provide comprehensive technical support services across our San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills locations. This position will be located in North Hills, CA with an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support role or similar position.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on their severity, urgency, and potential impact.
  • Strong understanding of IT principles, networking, operating systems, and security
  • Ability to follow and enforce IT security policies
  • Effective communication, patience, tenacity and follow-through in tracking, troubleshooting and bringing to resolution end user support calls
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
  • Self motivated with the ability to stay calm and collected under pressure, work independently and collaboratively in high pressure situations.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to travel to different sites and participate with rotating on-call and after-hours support.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record.
  • Position may require ability to stand, walk extended distances, bend, stoop, squat, and lift to 35 lbs. from the floor to desktop for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Google Workspace and Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating systems, including OS X, Windows 10/11 to effectively support diverse user environments.
  • Well-versed in the latest security, privacy, compliance, and IT best practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, including documenting issues and resolutions accurately.
  • Experience with VoIP troubleshooting and support

Responsibilities

  • Provide end user technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues for workstations, printers, phones, scanners, network connectivity, and software applications.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Configure new hire systems and perform IT on-boarding for new employees.
  • Assist with user access, creation, editing and troubleshooting in Active Directory, Google Workspace and various software applications.
  • Hands-on assistance in the server/networking room with patch cabling as well as infrastructure maintenance and management.
  • Proactively monitor systems for optimal performance and security.
  • Deploy new equipment and handle upgrade requests efficiently.
  • Partner and communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and vendors
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to the improvement of IT processes
  • Provide basic training to end-users on using hardware and software applications.
  • Collaborate with other departments and vendors to resolve complex issues.
  • Provide support for A/V equipment in office conference rooms
  • Perform other duties as assigned
