Information Technology Technicians for Classroom Support are the main source of technological assistance for professors and presenters in classroom settings. The main responsibilities of these technicians entail: Answering phone calls made to the Classroom Support Hotline. Working alongside CTS staff to provide support to university faculty, staff and sometimes, fellow students. Assessing and resolving reported issues in the classroom. Guiding professors and presenters on how to use classroom equipment. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues in classroom equipment. Writing classroom activity reports describing issues and solutions. During downtime, these technicians may assist with the following: Equipment inventory and maintenance. Replacement of broken classroom media equipment when applicable. Maintenance and updates of Crestron software.
