About The Position

Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I), the Information Technology Specialist (ITS II), Full Stack Developer, is responsible for performing activities of software applications analysis, design, development, testing, production delivery and production support of complex software enterprise solutions. The ITS II acts as a Full Stack Developer, responsible for translating business requirements into technical requirements, evaluating, technical work effort sizing, solution designing, implementing, testing, deploying software applications, documenting, coordinating, integrating the software products managed within the Division, and implementing highly complex software engineering solutions to meet enterprise business objectives. The Full Stack Developer performs duties of software architecture, software development, software integration, software testing, software production deployment and maintenance of infrastructure and software systems including user research, user-centric design, development, configuration, testing, and implementation. The designated Headquarters (HQ) for this position is in Sacramento County, and the selected candidate will be required to commute to their HQ office location as needed to meet operational needs. All commute expenses to the HQ location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate. The position is located at 10111 Old Placerville Road, Suite 110, Sacramento, CA 95827, near Rancho Cordova off Highway 50 with FREE PARKING! Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements are in the Class Specification
  • Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired
  • Proof of California residency will be required prior to appointment, if teleworking

Nice To Haves

  • Experience serving as a subject matter expert on web application development including system analysis, coding, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Experience with server and software configuration.
  • Experience with cloud based and on-premise web development.
  • Experience managing various documents such as technical designs, operating procedures, workflows, and user guides.
  • Experience in managing build and release pipelines across environments.
  • Experience with PHP, SQL, JSON, html, javascript, and css.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket
  • Experience working with a small team in a fast-paced environment delivering critical services.
