About The Position

Under direction of the Information Technology Supervisor II, the Information Technology Specialist I performs a wide variety of tasks in support of Department of State Hospitals requiring regular innovative problem-solving within broadly stated and non-specific guidelines, including multiple program areas, and involving planning, developing, and implementing technological solutions that are essential to the mission of DSH. The primary duties of the IT Specialist I lie within the Client Services domain of the IT Specialist I classification. This includes elements such as the full lifecycle of end-user device solutions including evaluation, configuration, provisioning, training, security, tracking, and support for an end-user computing environment.
