About The Position

PCG is looking for talented students to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program at our Corporate Headquarters in Lenexa, KS! This is a full-time paid internship supporting our Information Technology Department during the summer of 2026. Applicants for the Summer program should be able to commit to a 10-week internship, Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm. This role is responsible for assisting with the following: Support the IT Security team in maintaining hardware, software, systems, and applications Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and incidents Help maintain and update security documentation and procedures Participate in security awareness training and initiatives Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities Document and maintain records of security incidents, configurations, and network diagrams Assist with regular system backups and disaster recovery planning Support in managing and updating security policies, procedures, and best practices Research emerging threats and contribute to implementing countermeasures Hourly Pay: $22 an hour

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a comparable field of study
  • Must have reliable transportation to the office in Lenexa, KS
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
  • Displays excellent customer service skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask

Responsibilities
