About The Position

We are seeking a highly self-sufficient and service-oriented Information Technology (IT) Manager to serve as the sole, hands-on IT professional for a Kuki`o Golf and Beach Club! This role is responsible for day-to-day technical support, system administration, and strategic oversight of all club technology. The ideal candidate is a strong generalist who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems in real time, and partnering closely with department leaders in a hospitality-driven, member-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of broad IT experience, preferably in a solo or lead role
  • Strong working knowledge of networking, servers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and endpoint management
  • Experience supporting POS systems, member management platforms, and AV technology
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage competing demands
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting hospitality, private clubs, hotels, or service-oriented environments strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary and sole point of contact for all IT needs across the club
  • Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, POS systems, and AV equipment
  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, servers, cloud services, Wi‑Fi, and telecommunications
  • Support and troubleshoot member-facing and back-of-house systems including POS, member management, accounting, and HR/payroll platforms
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity practices, data protection, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Coordinate with external vendors and managed service providers for specialized projects or escalations
  • Lead system upgrades, software rollouts, patches, and hardware refreshes
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, policies, and procedures
  • Train staff on systems usage, security awareness, and basic troubleshooting
  • Manage IT budget, contracts, licensing, and technology inventory
  • Provide on-call and after-hours support as required to support club operations
