About The Position

IT Manager Good Earth Markets is a lively, health-minded workplace where great people, healthy living, and good energy make every day fun! Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to own, stabilize, and modernize our IT environment across all store locations. This role is hands-on and accountable. The IT Manager will serve as the primary internal owner of infrastructure, systems, and security—ensuring reliable store operations today while building a scalable, secure foundation for the future. The IT Manager is responsible for end-to-end ownership of the company’s IT systems, including store servers, POS environments, networks, identity platforms, and vendor relationships. This role balances daily operational support with planning, standardization, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with executive leadership while managing internal IT support resources and external vendors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting IT infrastructure in a multi-location or retail environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with: Windows Server and endpoints Networking (routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs, wireless) Hardware deployment and troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting business-critical systems (POS or ERP experience strongly preferred)
  • Comfortable owning outcomes, not just resolving tickets

  • PCI DSS familiarity
  • Microsoft 365 / Entra ID / Active Directory

Responsibilities

  • Own IT operations across 8 retail locations
  • Maintain and support: Store servers hosting ECRS and related business systems POS systems and peripherals Network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, VLANs, wireless)
  • Ensure system uptime, performance, backups, and recovery readiness
  • Standardize configurations, processes, and documentation across all locations
  • Serve as the primary owner of IT security practices
  • Support PCI compliance and audit readiness
  • Implement and maintain: Secure access controls and MFA Endpoint protection and patching processes Network segmentation and security best practices Coordinate incident response and remediation efforts
  • Act as the primary technical contact for: ECRS Internet service providers Hardware, software, and security vendors
  • Evaluate and recommend technology improvements, upgrades, and consolidations
  • Manager vendor relationships, performance, and escalations
  • Manage and mentor IT support staff
  • Establish escalation paths, service standards, and response expectations
  • Communicate clearly with store leadership during outages or incidents
  • Coordinate with managed service providers and external specialists as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets and systems
  • Participate in IT budgeting, forecasting, and lifecycle planning
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements through automation and better tooling
  • Contribute to a multi-year IT roadmap aligned with business goals
