About The Position

DPG Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Information Technology Manager to support the U.S. Army Warrant Officer Career College (USAWOCC) at Fort Novosel, Alabama. This is a non-personal services contract supporting the S6 / Information Management Office and USAWOCC Enterprise Classroom Program. The selected candidate will manage the USAWOCC IT department and ensure the operational readiness, security, lifecycle management, and compliance of over: 945 automation systems 15 DoD Mobility Unclassified Capability (DMUC) devices 26 classroom facilities 110 cadre and 2,800+ students annually This position requires deep Army IT operational experience, lifecycle replacement knowledge, and hands-on systems administration expertise.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Related technical discipline
  • CompTIA Security+ (required)
  • Active Secret clearance (required at proposal submission)
  • Minimum 12 years of IT / Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated experience with: Active Directory administration Windows group permissions Printer troubleshooting Computer hardware/software repair PowerShell scripting (Windows 11 / Office 365) Lifecycle Replacement (LCR) Warranty management Army IT security compliance (AR 25-2)

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience supporting Army or TRADOC environments
  • Experience working within the CHESS procurement framework
  • Experience in classified environments

Responsibilities

  • IT Operations & Project Management Provide comprehensive IT project planning, scheduling, and task breakdown
  • Identify technical requirements and track risks/issues
  • Serve as primary technical liaison to Army NEC and Enterprise Classroom Program representatives
  • Develop and execute a Quality Control Plan (QCP)
  • Helpdesk & User Support Manage S6 Trouble Ticket Portal and Helpdesk
  • Ensure 100% of tickets are resolved within 72 hours
  • Provide phone and in-person technical support
  • Maintain compliance with Army and Fort Novosel NEC policies
  • Systems & Account Administration Manage Active Directory (AD) for cadre and students
  • Create/modify/terminate user and computer accounts
  • Administer Army365 licenses and accounts
  • Process and track DD Form 2875 requests
  • Manage Account Validation System
  • Mobility & Endpoint Management Maintain all DMUC devices in mission-capable status
  • Troubleshoot Windows 11 systems
  • Manage group permissions and security policies
  • Write and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts (Windows 11 & O365)
  • IT Asset & Lifecycle Management Maintain 98%+ inventory accuracy across all automation systems
  • Update inventory within 48 hours of equipment changes
  • Manage annual Life Cycle Replacement (LCR)
  • Execute CHESS procurement processes
  • Manage equipment warranties and repairs
  • Classroom & Audio-Visual Support Maintain operational readiness of 26 classrooms
  • Troubleshoot A/V systems
  • Coordinate with ECP representative for equipment/software replacement
  • Reporting Requirements Submit: Weekly ticket resolution report Monthly classroom A/V report Monthly lifecycle report Monthly supply reorder list Annual SAM Service Contract Report (SCR)
