About The Position

At BHSI, we believe in empowering our customers to navigate a world full of uncertainty. Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance plays a vital role in helping individuals and businesses manage risk by transferring potential financial losses to insurers. At the heart of this process is the underwriter—a key decision-maker who evaluates risk and crafts insurance solutions that protect what matters most. As an Information Technology Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in assessing risk, structuring policies, collaborating with internal and external partners, and managing a business portfolio. This is your opportunity to gain experience, enhance your skills, contribute meaningfully, and be part of a team that’s transforming the insurance industry. BHSI is building a forever business, and we want you to consider being a part of it! During your 12-week, paid internship, you will participate in and contribute to project and operational work under the guidance of experienced IT professionals. If you have a passion for programming, project management, or analytics and data, we will identify projects to leverage these skills. In addition to learning about IT processes and how they support the Insurance Life Cycle (pricing a quote through to a claim), you will also learn about the insurance industry, and experience first-hand, the teamwork that it takes to deliver flexible, responsive solutions to our customers.
