About The Position

Education Required •Enrolled in a local university in a computer science or related field, preferably a junior or senior level. Education Preferred License, Certification and/or Registration Experience •Must have successfully trained in a student helper capacity. •Working knowledge of the assigned project(s). •Good understanding of IT department operations. •Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office. Additional Skills/Abilities •Ability to exercise good judgment. •Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing. •Ability to effectively communicate with users. •Ability to maintain confidentiality. Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions •Organizes work and completes tasks. •Analyzes problems and seeks creative/appropriate solutions. •Performs duties specific to the project as assigned by the mentor related to the project or team assigned. •Provides required documentation of maintenance and development efforts. •Participates in training, both in house and vendor delivered, in support of corporate functions and IT. •Solicits assistance from senior staff members in areas that are unfamiliar or require expertise beyond current knowledge level. •Displays motivation and willingness to learn in all learning situations.
