The Chicago office of Milliman Inc. is looking for bright, enthusiastic and qualified candidates to work in their Information Technology team. The Chicago Life/FRM/LTS Information Technology team is seeking an intern to assist in the support of network infrastructure, software and end user systems. This position will closely collaborate with the IT team as well as multiple software development teams. Duties may include configuring and maintaining workstations, laptops and servers in addition to developing internal software solutions.

Requirements

  • Computer Science or Information Technology related degree program (BA or BS)
  • Experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems
  • Experience with Linux operating systems
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
  • Experience with programming concepts

Responsibilities

  • Assist with programming on several ongoing software development projects
  • Conduct testing on several new applications
  • Assist with documentation and research
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned
  • Configure/Maintain laptops, workstations and servers
