About The Position

This position provides assistance to our IT team with the operation and maintenance of the cooperative’s information and communication systems. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting staff in the field and office.

Requirements

• Must be a current high school or college student.
• Knowledge of Office 365 and other Microsoft applications is required.
• Must possess good communication skills, with the ability to express technical information clearly while working closely with other personnel.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be able to lift and carry computer equipment up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and clear driving record for occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level computer support to users by troubleshooting applications, hardware, and mobile devices.
• Assist with computer support, including upgrades and user education.
• Assist with the set up and implementation of new computer software and hardware.
• Troubleshoot voice phone issues on a VOIP system.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of stored data and management requests.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Perform other miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
