The IT Director provides strategic and operational leadership for all information technology functions, ensuring technology capabilities directly support business objectives, growth, and operational resilience. This role partners closely with executive leadership and business stakeholders to define and execute a multi-year IT strategy that sustains alignment with current technological standards & digital modernization, strengthens security, improves scalability, and delivers measurable business value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • IT leadership experience, including responsibility for enterprise systems, platforms, and cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology modernization projects (e.g., ERP, data platforms, analytics, cloud, or infrastructure) with measurable business impact.
  • Experience establishing and managing cloud-based end-to-end analytics and management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric).
  • Experience establishing and operating IT governance, architecture standards, and data governance practices.
  • Experience with common cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT domains including applications, infrastructure, networking, security, and data platforms.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business language.
  • Track record of building, leading, and developing high-performing IT teams and managing external vendors and service providers.

  • Prior experience with ERP, CRM, or enterprise business platforms (e.g., IFS or similar systems) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all information technology functions, ensuring IT capabilities directly support business objectives, growth, and operational resilience.
  • Define and execute a multi-year IT strategy and roadmap that balances modernization, security, scalability, cost optimization, and user experience.
  • Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to translate business needs into pragmatic technology, data, and platform solutions with clear value and measurable outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise architecture standards, technology principles, and governance to ensure systems are secure, scalable, integrated, and fit for purpose.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and lifecycle management of enterprise platforms, infrastructure, applications, and cloud services, including licensing and vendor contracts.
  • Oversee IT financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, vendor spend, and ROI analysis across internal services and third-party providers.
  • Build and mature vendor management practices, including performance metrics, service level expectations, risk management, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing IT operations in a hybrid environment, including networks, systems, communications platforms, and business-critical applications.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and controls aligned with security, compliance, and risk management requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality through disciplined testing, quality assurance, automation, and operational excellence practices.
  • Develop and lead IT talent, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, learning, and customer-oriented service.
  • Improve end user effectiveness by enabling strong adoption, training, and support models that emphasize system value, usability, and business outcomes.
