About The Position

TI-Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Information Technology Associate. This position assists the Vice President of Information Technology in the security, integrity, and operational efficiency of the network, data, and voice systems, as well as logging and routing support calls.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years’ experience in Information Technology or Help Desk support.
  • Bachelor’s Degree; or A+, Network +, and/or Microsoft Certifications; or Combination of Education, Certification, and Related Experience.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized with very good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be experienced in using Microsoft applications and supporting printers and peripherals
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and escalate when appropriate.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Provide internal customer service to peers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial institutions preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory or user account management preferred.
  • Familiarity with VMware, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cisco networking concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to all Help Desk requests as the first level of support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues for end users.
  • Assist with monitoring daily, monthly, yearly backup procedures with assurances that they are performed correctly, tested, etc.
  • Assist with routine maintenance of system and hardware performance including drive space availability, problem resolution logs, cleaning of equipment and the computer room, virus scans, etc.
  • Support device connectivity including workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Assist with user account management including onboarding, offboarding, password resets, and access changes.
  • Assist with researching computer capabilities, advancements, and make recommendations for future purchases.
  • Assist with installation of operating systems, software applications, periodic updates, and upgrades.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating office and/or workstation moves including network and telephone access.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including procedures, inventories, and asset records.
  • Coordinate with vendors and escalate issues as needed for timely resolution.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
