About The Position

This position is predominantly involved in the technical and system analytics of the Lenel OnGuard Access Control software and system for UNMC , Nebraska Medicine and UNO . This position also carries customer service responsibilities within the system as well as providing additional support to the Photo ID portion of our operation. This position also supervises four staff, two in the Photo ID operation and two involved with the IT high-level aspects of the card access system. The technical portion is responsible for managing and providing technical support for the Lenel OnGuard access control software, managing the access control server, and Microsoft Structured Query Language ( SQL ) Server database. The customer service portion is responsible for printing all identification badges for UNMC /Nebraska Medicine, assigning electronic building access, and providing related customer support. This position provides identification and building access services for approximately 40,000 students, employees, medical staff, volunteers and affiliates in order to ensure a safe and secure workplace at all three entities.
