About The Position

EIT-Zollner is hiring an Information Systems Technician —an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy, service-minded professional eager to learn and grow. Whether you're fresh out of school or bringing some experience to the table, this role offers exposure to both Information Systems and Help Desk functions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll work with experienced professionals, gain real-world experience supporting users across the company, and help keep our IT infrastructure running smoothly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Additional training in IT, networking, or hardware/software support is a plus.
• Strong understanding of computer systems and networks
• Familiarity with TCP/IP and basic network protocols
• Excellent communication and a customer-first mindset
• A desire to learn and take initiative
• Must be comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and occasionally using ladders.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot a variety of IT hardware and software (PCs, servers, printers, projectors, VOIP phones, and more).
• Assist with maintaining our network infrastructure and user account management (user setups, file sharing, permissions).
• Provide day-to-day IT support for office and manufacturing floor systems—including those connected to production machinery.
• Perform system backups and assist with email administration tasks.
• Handle offboarding tasks like data backups and access removal for departing employees.
• Help maintain IT security by managing antivirus tools and identifying/removing malware, spyware, or viruses.
• Support and maintain surveillance systems (CCTV/DVR).
• Collaborate on infrastructure projects including office moves and facility updates.
• Keep proprietary and confidential information secure.
• Provide friendly, responsive support to employees—your communication skills matter as much as your tech knowledge!
