About The Position

Information Systems Security Specialist The Opportunity: Do you want to provide support to enterprise level cybersecurity risk mitigation for over a hundred ISR administrative, training, mission and weapon systems of all classification levels? As an Information Systems Security Specialist, you know the importance of safeguarding information systems and ensuring robust cybersecurity practices. As a member of our team, you’ll execute activities to maintain the cyber hygiene and authorization to operate (ATO) of the systems under your purview in accordance with ICD-503, NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253. You will design, implement, and manage policies and procedures to ensure database and software security and assist with developing and enforcing security policies, conducting system audits, and providing guidance to maintain the security posture of all client networks. You’ll apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise while collaborating with ISSM/ISSOs to ensure compliance with security directives and enhancing the resilience of mission-critical systems. You Have: 7+ years of experience managing Cybersecurity and Information Technology (IT) systems for the DoD or a government agency Experience as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Experience with cybersecurity strategies, constructs, and vulnerability analysis to determine applicability, risk, impact, mitigations, and remediations Knowledge of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process Knowledge of NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, CNSS-1253, and DoD Cybersecurity regulations Ability to provide guidance to Senior military leaders Ability to provide exceptional customer service and guidance on the ServiceNow ticketing system TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED IAM Level II Certification Nice If You Have: Experience with cybersecurity compliance testing using industry standard tools, including XACTA, SolarWinds, and ACAS Knowledge of Air Force IC Community policies and procedures Knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and security methodologies Ability to create and provide Cybersecurity training plans and programs Possession of excellent technical writing skills to create executive level briefings and procedures Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology or Cybersecurity field CISM or CISSP Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Requirements
