About The Position

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB)—a proud 1890 land-grant institution, the only public historically Black university in Arkansas, and a Carnegie-designated Research College and University—invites applications for the position of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Specialist—Workday. Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, the institution’s Chief Information Officer, the CRM Specialist serves as the University’s lead technical and functional specialist responsible for CRM configuration, segmentation, campaign automation, and analytics within Workday. The CRM Specialist partners closely with Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Institutional Effectiveness, and Communications to ensure that student-facing and stakeholder communications are timely, targeted, compliant, and measurable. The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of Workday in higher education, an understanding of the student lifecycle, and the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions. This position plays a pivotal role in improving student communications, increasing conversion and retention outcomes, and strengthening institutional accountability through data. This role is central to UAPB’s institutional transformation agenda to modernize student engagement, strengthen enrollment and retention communications, and improve operational effectiveness through technology. As UAPB implements Workday as a new enterprise platform, the CRM Specialist will help build a campus-wide culture of data-informed communication, ensuring students, faculty, and staff can fully leverage Workday tools to improve service delivery and student success outcomes.
