Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

Requirements

  • Active SECRET clearance or ability to qualify for a SECRET clearance or higher, if sponsored.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a biological science, sociological science, or engineering field.
  • Three or more years of professional experience aligned with responsibilities.
  • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security suitability adjudication (i.e., security screening).
  • Well organized, critical thinker, exceptional customer service skills for engaging with federal government clients.
  • Ability to work tasks autonomously and follow through to completion.
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests.
  • Competence to function efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding work environment focused on improving health security and threat recognition.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous professional work with federal, state and/or local government entities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health security, public health, CWMD and/or CBRN areas of work.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the planning, designing, analysis and implementation of tools, techniques and complex systems for operational use in the countering weapons of mass destruction place.
  • Supporting the management of system development projects based primarily in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Conducting assessments to identify efficient and effective approaches for data ingestion, integration, and operational use of tools and systems.
  • Developing strategic information technology roadmaps, transition documentation, and operating guidance documents.
  • Investigating and recommending COTS and GOTS solutions to meet end user needs.
  • Planning and facilitating meetings with government officials and developing briefing materials to support various engagements.
