About The Position

If so, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBank) invites you to apply for our 2026 Summer Internship Program ! We’re looking for well-rounded, motivated students to join us for a 10-week paid internship where you’ll gain hands-on experience, build your professional network, and develop valuable skills in a dynamic business environment. What You’ll Experience As an Information Security Governance intern at FHLBank, you’ll: Support security control inventory management, validation, and testing to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Assist in executing phishing simulation campaigns and tracking results to improve organizational resilience. Participate in access certification processes to maintain secure user access across systems. Contribute to security awareness training initiatives to promote best practices and reduce risk. Apply strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate across teams and present analytical results effectively Contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study Gain exposure to the finance and banking industry Participate in team-building activities, a group project, a community service event, and professional development sessions (including dining etiquette!)

Requirements

• Have completed at least their sophomore year of undergraduate studies.
• Graduate students encouraged to apply!
• Are majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, Risk and Compliance
• Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
• Work well independently and in team settings
• Are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to solve problems
