Role Description
The Information Security Intern will support MACOM’s global Security Operations team, contributing to the protection of systems, data, and infrastructure across a multinational organization.

Requirements

• Currently a third‑year student pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Systems (BIS) or related discipline
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Good problem‑solving and analytical abilities
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment
• Strong interest in information security

Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Operations team with day‑to‑day security monitoring and operational tasks
• Support the identification and mitigation of security risks across systems and platforms
• Contribute to security reviews, documentation, and process improvements
• Participate in security initiatives that enhance system reliability and visibility
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders in a global team environment
