About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and data management support to the Nursing Service Department. This position will be responsible for receiving, processing, analyzing and disseminating a wide range of data, information and reports related to patient care, performance improvement, accreditation and regulatory compliance, and personal matters. Provides clinical decision support to the Nursing Division through data processing and evaluation using charts, spreadsheets and special designed graphs for care delivery, resource utilization and accreditation/regulatory compliance. Position reports directly to Nursing Services Administrative Supervisor. This position requires working with psychiatric patients including those presenting aggressive behavior.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and three years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of data / information management and programming techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware/software, including all Microsoft applications and Internet Explorer.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize procurement requests in high volume environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
