About The Position

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire an Information Governance ESI Analyst. Reporting to the Manager of Information Governance ESI Operations, the IG ESI Analyst supports the electronically stored information (ESI) operations of the firm and provides support to information governance processes. This position can be located in most US offices and offers a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 5+ years of application support experience with application support experience.
  • Experience with Information Governance processes and procedures.
  • Advanced understanding of enterprise applications and architecture.
  • Firsthand experience with user focused design.
  • Team player with the ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas.
  • Self-starter with excellent customer service skills.
  • Project management skills with the ability to multi-task and provide metrics, status updates.
  • Experience in working through and resolving escalated and complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to correspond and speak effectively with employees, clients, and vendors.
  • Technology skills including MS Office Suite including SharePoint and support tools for off the self applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting any of the following applications is a plus: GDSI Tools, iManage, CAM, Exchange Online, Litera PowerDesktop.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, collect, extract, transfer, archive or delete data from within Document Management System (DMS) and other repositories in alignment with firm policy.
  • Import and organize data provided by various internal and external teams.
  • Preserve data in pristine state from within DMS and other repositories.
  • Targeted search/collection of data in response to discovery requests.
  • Grant access to data based on Office of General Counsel approval.
  • Import data of new hires into DMS, email, and other repositories.
  • Conduct confidential reviews of data per Office of General Counsel direction.
  • Assist staff with the movement of data into various repositories, adhering to firm policy.
  • Assist with on-site review and facilitation of the transfer of physical files in local office.
