About The Position

SMX is seeking a mid-level Information Assurance Windows System Administrator. The Administrator will support our NAWCAD customer at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Monitor ticketing system for tasks Monitor/Manage/Schedule/Forecast Upcoming IA Work Work with a large variety of Data Center teams to alleviate Cyber findings and concerns Attend collaboration meetings to address STIG/EvaluateSTIG discrepancies Complete STIG checklists ACAS scanning and reports Support vulnerability detection, remediations, and mitigations

Requirements

Clearance Required: Top Secret
Interim TS required to start
2-4 years of Windows Administration experience
Experience in DoD Information Assurance/Cyber policy and procedures to include hardening of systems, implementing STIGs, and scanning
Knowledge of NIST guidelines and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience with administering Windows/Linux operating systems
DoD 8140 compliant certification (Examples of minimum acceptable certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, G SEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)
Detail-oriented and able to work multiple assignments autonomously and in a team setting
Must be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's or higher degree
Advanced 8140 compliant certification
