Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for an Informatics Data Reporting Senior Manager to join our team! The Informatics Data Reporting Senior Manager is responsible for identifying and analyzing data and collection systems, producing required reports, recognizing trends, applying statistical expertise, and driving the data operations toward automation to support self-service reporting. This role oversees managers, staff, processes, technology, timelines and deliverables; collaborates with stakeholders; supports team development and performance; resolves staffing and project issues; stays current with emerging technologies; and delivers reporting and analysis to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience leading or managing teams utilizing direct care services and/or statistical data analysis, data management, statistics reporting (including population statistics or program metric development and implementation for behavioral health, mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities, and/or co-occurring disorders populations), use of databases, or other mathematically driven quality improvement; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience leading or managing teams utilizing direct care services and/or statistical data analysis, data management, statistics reporting (including population statistics or program metric development and implementation for behavioral health, mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities, and/or co-occurring disorders populations), use of databases, or other mathematically driven quality improvement; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must reside within North Carolina.
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, Actuarial/Statistics, Data Analytics, Sciences health field (such as Public Health, etc.) Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Service field, or other data related degree programs
  • Advanced degree
  • Experience supervising two (2) or more employees
  • Experience working with and bridging gaps between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in any of SQL (SSRS, SSIS), Power BI, R, Python, AI/Machine learning, or Predictive Analytics
  • Experience as an Information Programmer/Developer, Information Analyst, or Business Analyst in a highly technical role
  • One or more certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma, CSPA, Certified Machine Learning – Specialty (AWS), Predictive Analytics Certificate (SOA), CAHIMS, ITIL v3, or equivalent certifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee IT Managers and staff in the integration of IT and business practices.
  • Manage and oversee the collection, evaluation and reporting of all organizational data areas.
  • Identify required data elements for indicators and outcomes, develop systems to capture and analyze data, and validate data reports and automated outputs, as needed.
  • Generate, analyze, and validate reports for the purpose of identifying trends/patterns in data or concerns with agency performance.
  • Maintain schedule of reporting and distribute reports to appropriate internal/external stakeholders.
