About The Position

RIDGEVIEW , a not-for-profit community mental health center headquartered in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for an RN to function as Full-Time (30 hrs/wk) Infection Preventionist. Related job functions include some staff education.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and possess a license (LPN or RN) issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience and a working knowledge of epidemiology, infectious diseases, and aseptic techniques, to include Standard Precautions, is required.
• Computer skills required, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
• Must be a quick learner with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of two years of experience in Infection Prevention/ Employee Health is preferred.
• Psychiatric/ mental health experience is preferred.
