About The Position
The Infection Control responsible for the facility Infection Control Plan, coordinating the activites related to the health of staff such as PPD, Hep B and other immunications/tests; Ensures the education of infectious disease prevention; Tracks and monitors reported infection; Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements related to infection prevention; Acts as liaison with Department of Health officials.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- 2 - 3 years of infection control nursing experience in an in-patient setting preferred
- BLS
- APIC certification (or actively working towards the certification)
- Currently licensed in the state of Florida
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- basic computer skills
- customer service skills required
