Strong Start Early Care & Education is hiring experienced Infant Teachers to join our high-quality early childhood program around Danbury and Norwalk, CT. Requirements
- 1+ years of infant classroom experience (required)
- 1+ years in early childhood education (required)
- Knowledge of infant development and best practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, nurturing, and responsive care for infants
- Plan and implement curriculum aligned with CT Early Learning & Development Standards
- Support infants’ social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Communicate daily with parents (updates, reports, conferences)
- Follow all licensing regulations and NAEYC standards
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team and leadership
