About The Position

You understand how commercial industries such as supply chain, retail, real estate, manufacturing, and finance operate and how they are more successful when using GIS. Join Esri's Industry Solutions team and help organizations understand how GIS fits into their workflows and supports long-term industry transformation. In this role, you will collaborate with and help guide industry specialists, marketing professionals, and sales leaders to promote the adoption of ArcGIS within commercial industries. Esri offers a Relocation Assistance Program to support candidates who need to relocate for this position.

Requirements

  • Recognized experience working within commercial industries such as supply chain, retail, real estate, manufacturing, finance, or related sectors
  • 10+ years of experience contributing to industry strategy, market development, or technology adoption initiatives
  • 5+ years of people management experience, including leading teams of professionals
  • Demonstrated understanding of geospatial technology and mapping platforms, including familiarity with ArcGIS
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong written communication and presentation abilities
  • Experience communicating with both business and technical audiences
  • Experience speaking at industry conferences or events
  • Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, business administration, or a related field
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally

  • Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver thought leadership through presentations, conferences, and industry engagement that demonstrate the value of ArcGIS within commercial industries
  • Research, analyze, and monitor relevant industry and technology trends to identify opportunities for GIS adoption
  • Support strategic opportunities as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers and sales teams to encourage industry engagement
  • Work with industry specialists, marketing teams, and internal stakeholders to support industry messaging and outreach
  • Stay current on the competitive landscape and participate in discussions with industry leaders and executives
  • Collaborate with internal technology teams to ensure ArcGIS capabilities align with industry needs
  • Lead and support a team of industry specialists focused on commercial industries
