About The Position
The Industrial Painter performs surface preparation and coating application to protect plant structures, equipment, and components from corrosion and environmental damage.
Requirements
- Ability to work at heights and in confined industrial spaces (as required)
- Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including verification, background check, drug test, medical evaluation, and fit test
Nice To Haves
- Industrial painting or coating experience preferred
- Familiarity with industrial coatings and surface prep methods
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces through cleaning, scraping, sanding, and blasting as required
- Apply industrial coatings using brush, roller, or spray methods
- Mix coatings according to manufacturer specifications
- Work on structural steel, piping, tanks, floors, and equipment
- Set up and maintain containment and protection of adjacent areas
- Follow all safety, environmental, and site-specific procedures
- Coordinate work with plant operations and maintenance teams
