About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Painters for projects located in the West Fargo, ND area. This is a second shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Apply primer and topcoat using electrostatic spray equipment Perform booth painting in a clean, climate-controlled facility Paint in multiple positions and use a creeper when necessary Apply coatings within specified thickness requirements Use a mil gauge to verify paint thickness Inspect prep work to ensure it meets specifications prior to painting Perform touch-ups and rework as required Maintain and inspect painting equipment Operate an overhead crane when needed Handle, store, and properly dispose of hazardous materials Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
Requirements
- Prior industrial or heavy-equipment painting experience
- Experience with electrostatic paint systems preferred
- Ability to meet thickness and quality specifications
- All PPE & steel-toe boots
- Respirator fit test required
