About The Position
Position Summary Apply primer and paint to parts as specified. Essential Job Functions Spray a variety of parts with primer and finish paint, as specified on order, under limited supervision Read blueprints to determine painting specifications Clean and mask parts to be painted Use brush to touch up any imperfections Mix paint as required to match specific colors required to process specifications Clean all equipment at the end of the day Operate all processes at OSHA required standards Monitor and track daily, weekly and monthly usage of VOC items (e.g. paint, thinner, gun cleaner, etc.) Other duties as directed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum two (2) years' experience painting machined parts using two-part paint
- Must be able to work independently and follow instructions precisely
