We are looking for an Industrial Painter to join our team! Must be proficient in surface cleaning, preparation, and pressure pot paint gun painting to accomplish assigned tasks, producing work of a high standard in accordance with Consolidated Pipe and Supply policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to speak and read English
• Ability to maintain and use pressure pot painting equipment (previous experience preferred) safely and efficiently
• Must be dependable and have reliable transportation to and from work
• Submitting a pre-employment drug test
• Submit to and pass a physician examination due to the use of respiratory equipment

Responsibilities

• Responsible for painting (prime coat and topcoat) using a pressure pot gun in accordance with policies and procedures as set by Consolidated Pipe and Supply
• Clean and prepare surface areas prior to painting and complete the pre-start equipment checks
• Maintain pressure pot painting tools and equipment
• Accurately maintain required tags, records, and any other paperwork required for each product
• Handle painted products to ensure the product is delivered to the shipping department without damage to the paint
• Maintain a safe and clean painting area
• Follow ALL corporate safety requirements and standards, including but not limited to the use of respiratory equipment, protective clothing, protective lenses/goggles, steel-toed boots, etc.
• Other painting as required by the Post Fabrication Foreman and/or Fabrication Manager
• Safely operate a forklift
