About The Position
We are seeking a dependable Industrial Painter Helper with hands-on industrial experience to support coating and surface preparation work. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in physically demanding conditions. Candidates should be comfortable assisting with surface prep and working around industrial painting operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of recent experience in an industrial or construction environment
- Experience assisting with surface preparation (sanding, grinding, cleaning, masking)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing)
- Proven ability to follow safety procedures and use PPE correctly
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- 6 months to 1 year
Nice To Haves
- Direct experience with industrial coatings or painting
- Familiarity with spray equipment or sandblasting
- Knowledge of industrial surface prep standards
- OSHA certification or safety training
