About The Position

Are you the go-to problem-solver when a line goes down? Imagine you're on 2nd shift at a busy Milwaukee food processor partnered with TekPro. A conveyor halts, an HMI flags a fault, and production waits on your call. You trace the issue from the VFD to a pneumatic actuator, verify 480V power, correct the problem, and bring the line back up—safely and efficiently. If this sounds like your kind of challenge, read on. Your impact Own the repair and ongoing upkeep of facility systems and packaging/processing machinery. Plan and perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks that prevent downtime and extend asset life. Quickly diagnose and fix hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures. Handle plumbing repairs to prevent leaks, water damage, and lost productivity. Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V and work confidently across 120/208/240/480 voltage ranges. Apply practical knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs to solve controls issues. Lead hazardous communication (HazCom) audits and correct potential safety hazards. Maintain impeccable housekeeping and 5S-minded organization. Take on other duties as assigned to support production goals. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent blend of education, training, and experience.
  • 1–5+ years supporting packing/production equipment in a food-industry environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety rules and regulatory requirements and the discipline to follow them.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and effective both solo and with a team.
  • Excellent mechanical troubleshooting and solid electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Comfort working with 120/208/240/480 voltage systems.
